Baan Yuree Resort - SHA Extra Plus

Tucked by the hillside this hotel service is great as we arrived we were offered free cups of orange juice which was refreshing. The staff were great , nice n polite n we got to know everyone . The rooms were wide n spacious n we even had a balcony. The weather was very warm n humid but the aircon did it's job to keep us cool. Downstairs there was a pool clean n had a nice tropical garden we loved it . If we are going to Puket again we will definitely book this place, prices r competitive n reasonable n very close to Simon's Lady boy show . They have free daily shuttle bus We love it can't complain n we even got to know the bus driver .. very nice person. Well deserved 5 stars

Everything about this place screams holiday. The rooms are clean with big beds, one time free water bottle and tea, coffee sachets. Bathrooms r nice too. Only really saw a tiny worm in the shower once, had to drown it in hot water before bathing.. also a balcony with a random kitty who goes from room to room and isn't loyal to anyone. 2 infinity pools going into another with timings from 9am to 9pm. Nothing shady, saw many families come and go. Stayed for 5 days as a couple. The only downside is the steep hill you have to walk to get to the hotel, which sucks especially when you get back after a long day or after belly full of meal..

I had a very bad experience in the counter the 1st day. I have booked for 12 people and as they claim their agent over there booked it for 8 people only so that I must pay for 3 peoples bed. After calling my agent in Hong Kong and passed the phone to the Manager they said fine than pay for extra 2 bed. They kept taunting to give them extra money. The attitude of the manager and the receptionist was very bad. As we couldn’t get the refund, we had to pay extra money force fully. The water in the bathroom was always hot and there wasn’t anything adjustment, we complained but never fixed it. The transportation was also very bad, the tuk tuk charges us extra to just go there because it’s in the hill and the road to the hotel is very bad. Overall I had a bad stay and I won’t recommend anyone to go there.

Not at all premium as the tour operators might suggest. Located up on a steep cliff which you have to climb up and down and is a big big issue. Not located near patong beach. Complimentary breakfast is beside the hotel and is very limited. If you want room service or anything, tell it before 5pm, post that you are on your own. Avoid this. There are better hotels to go for.

We stayed in the remodeled, "garden" view room, which was actually a great view of the hill behind the hotel. The room is clean, modern, bright and spacious. The bed is HUGE and comfortable, but they provided only 2 pillows for such a big bed. The pool area was nice and clean. There weren't that many guests, so we had the pool almost to ourselves for the 3 nights we were there. One of the young female staff at the front desk was courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff was either overworked or weren't properly trained for the hospitality industry. Our booking came with breakfast, but the breakfast was actually at an adjacent hotel. The breakfast itself was nothing to write about. The hotel looks like it needs some maintenance; cracked walls, chipped tiles around the pool, water fountain not working or was turned off, etc. We love the room, but it ends there. We will not return because 1) it's located on a hill and it's a steep climb to get to the hotel and then more stairs going up to the room. 2) there is absolutely no Wi-Fi in the room. You'd have to go sit in the hot hotel lobby if you need Wi-Fi connection. 3) we asked for 2 additional pillows, but were told by the front desk staff that she will charge 200 Baht per extra pillow. Unheard of.

Short Review: Dump of a joint - don't bring your family here. Long Review: Hotel is very run down and has had minimal upkeep over decades. General maintenance is very poor with rubbish everywhere. Some resort staff were very nice, others would get their backup if you asked them for something as simple as a roll of toilet paper or an extra pillow for my girlfriends swollen foot. Resort has virtually no standards with people smoking/drinking everywhere whilst playing music super loud for 8 hours straight with no regard to young families nearby. My girlfriend literally felt unsafe when we had a bunch of french blokes (who looked like human sex traffickers) move in next door who would smoke spliffs on the balcony and blare French NWA til 11pm - coupled by the fact that the barrier separating the balconies was about waist high. Place has great potential, it just needs new management. At times it felt like a nice enough spot for the money paid (despite it's faults). But most of the time was pretty unsavoury. It's clear they don't know who they are catering for. If you're a group of young blokes looking for cheap accom to get trashed by the pool and head out to Bangla Rd this place will do the trick. Otherwise I would not recommend this hotel to anybody else.

1) Old and depressing place. It’s very far from Patong beach. 2) Ceiling AC don't work at all and make you sweaty till morning because the other AC is not that much make your room cool all alone. 3) Also the WiFi was never working. For this people come and had fight but the reception staff always says see wifi is working (It will connect but displays no internet) 4) You will find better places for much better price which will be near to Atong beach. 5) Shuttle service which is only provided till 4pm which also a drawback incase you want to return back to Resort you have to come on your own. They strictly says our staff is busy somewhere else so We won't come to pick you up. 6) The room service was totally bad. Not provide any refreshments or water bottles after 3pm if you are thirsty the reception staff start arguing with you regarding the time even if you are outside or exploring City. 7) They kept dirty spoons and towel as well after room cleaning (Forget to click photo of towel which had big stains). 8) Breakfast meal is so so but you will not feel hungry after watching it with you post your appetite or compromise with bread and butter with salads. 9) Rude Staff members mainly on the reception. They start arguing if you ask refreshments after 3pm or ask for a help. Strictly No from them. Just came today and choosing this hotel for that much money is totally worthless.
